Paul J. Hayden, CPA

Paul, a certified public accountant (CPA), truly enjoys using the knowledge he has acquired over the last 30 years of being involved in business to help people run a successful business, pay as little as possible in taxes, and execute a plan for a happy, worry-free retirement. He became an entrepreneur at the age 12 delivering the Milwaukee Journal door-to-door seven days a week.  He graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and then spent ten years in public and private accounting before starting Hayden CPA. That was 20 years ago. He understands the struggles of owning your own business like working a lot of hours, meeting a payroll, and making it all seem worthwhile. He’s also a technology geek and loves using the latest software and gadgets to make running a business easier and more efficient. Paul is member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of CPAs.

Paul has many hobbies like going on cruises and traveling with his wife JoAnn, camping and canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and riding his horse Romey. He also likes to cook and play with his grandchildren.

JoAnn has been an employee of Hayden CPA from the beginning.  She has formal education in all aspects of running an office, including everything from filing, to bookkeeping, to tax.  In addition to an associate’s degree, JoAnn has specialized training in tax preparation, and extensive experience with home daycares.  She especially loves her role as office manager at Hayden CPA, because she has had the opportunity to get to know each client, their story, and their families over the years.

JoAnn enjoys several hobbies, including reading, quilting, and flower gardening.  She also loves traveling with her husband, Paul, and spending time with her grandchildren.
